Carlos Vela is having a year to remember with LAFC. The Mexican forward broke the all-time MLS record for goals in a season by scoring 34 in 31 games. He also registered 15 assists while captaining his team to the Supporters’ Shield title and the most points (72) in league history. After stints at Arsenal FC and Real Sociedad, Vela signed with LAFC in 2018.
