Zuckerberg grilled by US lawmakers over Libra

The CEO of social media giant Facebook has appeared before a US congressional committee to defend the upcoming launch of a global digital currency.
Mark Zuckerberg says the new “Libra” cryptocurrency will be a force for good.
But there are fears it could disrupt the global financial system, threaten users’ privacy, and facilitate money laundering.
