MIKE TYSON offered $32 Million to FIGHT Wanderlei Silva !

Is $32 Million dollars enough for Mike Tyson to make his return in 2020, or perhaps 2021? Apparently, that’s the current offer the boss of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is making for Iron Mike. This 32 Million offer on the table includes further incentives and charitable donations to make the offer even sweeter. Something Mike Tyson would certainly be pleased by.

This comes from a previous offer of $20 Million by BKFC for Tyson’s return. I think this is a really smart move by David Feldman, president of the organization. Imagine getting a marquee fighter such as Mike Tyson on board. His training video at 53 went viral and it went viral for a reason. His name, Mike Tyson, the man alone still creates excitement, add to this, we all seen glimpses of his greatness once again. His Trainer Rafael Cordeiro said it himself; that Mike Tyson has the “same speed , same power as guys 21, 22 years old”.

Having Mike Tyson compete in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will get a lot of new fans interested in this organization who have not otherwise bothered to tune it. I mean, combat sports fans already have the UFC, Bellator and professional boxing to choose from. Me personally, I’m somewhat intrigued by some of the fighters they have on their roster, for example, there are quite a few ex-MMA fighters such as Thiago Alves, Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, Gabriel Gonzaga, Hector Lombard and Wanderlei Silva. One could argue that these are all fighters past their prime, which is what people would say about a 53 year old Tyson as well. But a name like

Mike Tyson, passed his prime or not, could really inject some much needed publicity into this organization. I could even see this move entice younger talent to this organization and who knows, maybe have it someday compete against the likes of Bellator, or dare I say it, even the UFC. David Feldman says, “I want to see if we can make the Mike thing happen, period, and then we’ll start talking opponents.” “We’re not successful yet in making that Mike thing happen.

But I don’t think the door’s shut. I think I know what we need to do to make this thing happen.” Speaking of opponents, David Feldman did bring up fan favorite Wanderlei Silva as a potential opponent for Mike Tyson. Wanderlei Silva, also known as “The Axe Murderer” has had a very successful career in various MMA organizations such as Pride, Bellator and the UFC. He’ll be 44 this year and has a similar build to Tyson. He’s famous for his brutal, relentless style, which has been described as “Feral”.

There’s a very interesting quote Rafael Cordeiro, Mike Tyson’s current trainer made. He said “I have trained a lot of heavyweights in my career (when referring to Tyson), he is almost as powerful as Wanderlei Silva right now. When you talk about power, I held his right hook and though ‘he is going to kill someday’.”

It doesn’t seem so as he just refuted rumors of a Mike Tyson vs Wanderlei Silva BKFC fight. Stating that “Tyson is training to make a boxing fight, with gloves”. But according to reports that just came out, apparently Silva was offered $10 Million plus a percentage of the pay-per-view by BKFC to take the fight against Tyson, which Silva accepted immediately.
