Secretary of State Antony Blinken delivers remarks on the Afghanistan withdrawal with The House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The United States finished its evacuation efforts from Kabul’s airport, the Pentagon said on August 30. The withdrawal efforts effectively ended America’s longest war, drawing to a close the 20-year war that outlasted three presidents before Joe Biden.
